GNLA linkman, HUJI activists nabbed

Acting on specific inputs, BSF troops apprehended one Bangladeshi national while he was trying to exhilarate into Bangladesh from India in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya on Friday at about 1 pm.
The apprehended person has been identified as one Jaben Sangma (40) from Mymensingh, Bangladesh. 10 bottle of Phensedyl worth Rs 2000 and one Mobile phone with a Bangladeshi Sim were recovered from his possession. During preliminary questioning he revealed that he was involved in smuggling activities and works as linkman for GNLA.
In another incident on Saturday, BSF troops apprehended three Indian nationals while they were trying to infiltrate inside India from West Garo Hills district at about 9.20 am.
The apprehended persons have been identified as Md Mehar Ali (68), Md Muktar Alam (22) and Md Jorib Ali (18) all from Darrang district in Assam. Indian currency totaling to Rs 810, Bangladeshi currency 155 Taka, 2 Mobiles and 2 sim cards were recovered from their possession. On preliminary inquiry they have revealed that they are members of Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami (HUJI), Bangladesh.
As per specific info, BSF troops also apprehended one Fake Indian Currency Note (FICN) Racketeer in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya along with FICN equivalent to Rs 2000.
The apprehended person was identified as Md Nazural (20) from Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He has been handed over to police for further legal action as per the law of land.
