SHILLONG, Oct 06: The recent allotment of medical seats to students under the state quota in medical colleges across the country has earned ire from the student community and others. This is the true and shameless story of Meghalaya which is trying to create cream out of a bunch of low scoring back benchers in classroom. What precedence it is going to set for the future of this state where the health scenario is dismally poor and the least talked about education the better it is.
