SHILLONG, Mar. 16:
The Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY), an initiative by the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Government of Meghalaya and Apollo Munich, will jointly organize a free medical camp on March 22, at the State Central Library premises.
The release issued here on Tuesday, highlighted the enlisted BPL families as per the Census 2002 are getting insurance coverage for cashless treatment in the empanelled hospitals under this scheme.
Apollo Munich Health Insurance Co Ltd is the insurer for this project in Meghalaya and the free health camp is to maximize the success of the said programme. Eminent doctors from different blocks and hospitals of Meghalaya as well as Assam will be present for free consultations and medical check-up, the release stated.
