SHILLONG, Sep 04: The first open ‘Futsal’ tournament will be organized by the Futsal Association of Meghalaya (FAM) to introduce the game in the state from September 28-30 at Indoor stadium, JN Complex, Polo.
The tournament is also being organized in collaboration with Futsal Association of India (FAI) supported by District Sports Promotion Society (DSPS), East Khasi Hills Shillong.
SHILLONG, Sep 04: Off-roader’s from North East surmount large boulders, changed gears on steep slopes and navigated their way through muddy bogs, tight, precipitous corners and treacherous slopes at the AHOR 4×4 Off-road Challenge held at Kharsati park Ri-Bhoi District.
The treacherous and natural tracks which some considers being at par with the national off-roading standard took the competitors of the AHOR 4×4 Off-road Challenge to extreme stages testing their skills and their off-roading monsters.

Working President, Meghalaya State Olympics Association, John F. Kharshiing graced the programme as the Chief Guest, which was organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya.
Shillong, Aug 28 (IANS): Shillong Lajong FC on Monday announced the signing of six foreign players ahead of the I-League football 2017-18 season.
For the new I-league season, the number of foreign players allowed to be fielded by each team in the starting 11 has been increased to five and teams can register up to six foreigners.
