The swindling in Govt offices

Sir,
News dated August 28, 2013, that Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma seeks Rs 3000-cr package from PM special pakage, all wish to congratulate the CM for the plan outlay. But I see loot; being a retired government servant I have had the advantage of seeing it first hand in my 30 years of service. The problem is how many percentage of this package will go to the public, or will it be just another freebie for the contractors and the Officers and the politicians?

A Prisoner in my own Land

A Prisoner in my own Land

Sir,
I am hungry with no food left in the house; I can’t go and buy because shops are closed, and if some are opened the price is hundred times higher than what is supposed to be.
Our children have nothing to do at home, they can’t move anywhere except within the four corners of the house. We sent our papers to be signed in different offices and they lie there unmoved as no officers dare to go to office and if they go at all they just sit by the side of it and eat KWAI.

“Service to man is service to God”

“Service to man is service to God”

Sir,
I have been appallingly noticing again every day at every location/street of mentally ill- persons walking tiredly with despair and in a exhausting voice, pleading at every passer-by to give a decent amount to buy a food and to fulfill their hungry stomach for the time being or so. As most of these mentally ill- individual are always staying away from their families and also the families and relatives lest care about them.
Basically, the mentally ill-individual has been already left to live on their own life and struggle for their own survival by their respective family and relatives. Day by day, the proliferation ratio of mentally ill-person has reached an alarming number on the street of Tura Town without any helping hand from the related department.

Cleanse the Government Machinery first

Cleanse the Government Machinery first

Sir,
I am not shocked and appalled, that  this  CM is adamant to the demands of the People, especially when his Govt is deep rooted in corruption and destruction of  files, destruction of Acts and insertion of  bogus amendments of land  Act, which will directly harm the identity of the Indigenous people as Indigenous People are attached to their land.
