SHILLONG, Nov 30: State police Friday failed to register a case against those involved in the infamous education job scam unearthed by the CBI which has raised concern from several quarters in the state. However, the police is still seeking the permission of the Court to add relevant sections to a one year old case.
Mentionably, on November 22 last, the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate I Rymbui directed the police to register cases against those involved in the job scam unearthed by the CBI, in which cabinet Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh and several other Congress legislators have been indicted of involvement in tampering the marks of candidates.
