SHILLONG, July 04: Three people have been arrested for the recent attack on the brother of Congress legislator from West Shillong Mohendro Rapsang.
“We have arrested two-three persons who were suspected to be involved in the case after analysing the CCTV footage and inquiry into the matter is still on against them,” SP (City) S Rynjah said here.

He said that another suspect was also arrested on Wednesday.
It may be mentioned here that a masked assailant had assaulted Rishan Rapsang with a rod before robbing a bag from him last week. The incident took place at Jaiaw Langsning when Rishan was just returning home from office.
According to a CCTV footage that went viral, the assailant, who had covered his face with a jacket and was wearing just a pair of slippers, was already waiting in his compound before attacking Rishan.
Meanwhile, sources informed that the person arrested was an employee of the factory owned by Rishan at Umiam.
The accused was handed over to the Lumdiengjri police station after he confessed to have involved in the crime, sources said.
