SHILLONG, Jan 10: Their alleged refusal to provide care to an alleged rape victim has landed two hospitals in serious trouble after Thma U Rangli Juki (TUR) leader Angela Rangad filed a FIR against them.
According to the FIR, Woodland Hospital and Bethany Hospital, which both are private run medical institutions had refused to help the minor girl involved in the heinous Mawryngkneng gang  rape case.

Rangad stated in the FIR that on January 3, when the victim was taken to Woodland Hospital for medical help, the staff there refused to help citing the matter to be a “police case”.
She was later taken to Bethany Hospital where the staff of the hospital informed that “the hospital does not deal with such cases,” she added.
