Meghalaya food processing Investors meet for entrepreneurs on March 7

SHILLONG, Feb 29:
North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited (NERAMAC) will be holding Meghalaya Food Processing Investors Meet at Hotel Pine Wood, Shillong on March 7.
The unique concept of Meghalaya Food Processing Investors Meet is aimed at helping Entrepreneurs in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture & Food Processing, where not only Investors, consultants & industry specialists/experts shall be available but also Banks with their finance modules will be available for the entrepreneurs under one roof.
Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Dr. Mukul Sangma will be gracing the occasion as Chief Guest.
“We have been working on bridging the gap between investors from the Meghalaya and the rest of the country, we would like to urge entrepreneurs to shun all inhibitions and participate in this meet in order to draw maximum benefits” said Managing Director, NERAMAC limited, S. Bhattacharjee.
National prospective investors like Dabur Foods of Sahibabad, Adani Group of Ahmedabad, and J.M. Bakers & Confectioneries of Coimbatore shall be present as well Along with Industry group and consultants like Tech–know Consultants, Mumbai, Soy Food Promotion & Welfare Association, New Delhi, Tetra Pak Ltd., Poultry Federation of India, New Delhi, Meat Processing Consultant, Kolkata and so on.
The event shall also have open sessions with the Directors of Horticulture, Agriculture,  Horticulture, Director of Industries, MD, MIDC, Government of Meghalaya;  and representatives of NEHU, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management, NABARD, NHB, SFAC, APEDA, NERAMAC, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Meghalaya Apex Bank, Central Bank, NEDFIand so on.
Secretary, MoFPI, Government of India, Rakesh Kacker, Principal Secretary, Agriculture, K. Kharkongar, and Secretary, Industries, Government of Meghalaya, L Kharkongar will also be present in the occasion.
The event which received an overwhelming response at its last Guwahati session is a North East Specific activity organized by NERAMAC, in all the states of North East.
