Posted in March 2012

Staff Reporter
SHILLONG, March 05:
As the uncrowned fashion capital of the Northeast, Shillong is used to fashion parades. But the city has not quite experienced the style statement that will be out of ‘The Closet’ later this week for a cause.
This Saturday, the Meghalaya capital will be rocked by the class of magnitude of fashion usually experienced in the metros of India and abroad. The show christened ‘The Closet’ and to be held at The Shillong Club.
The spotlight of the show would be on James Ferreira, one of India’s most happening designers and his creations on the country’s top 20 models. If he guarantees a ‘Saturday night fever’, the feverish pitch would be set by local designers before him.
