Two FICN racketeers apprehended

Shillong, March 31:
Two Fake Indian Currency Note (FICN) racketeers along with FICN worth Rs. 8000 were on Friday last apprehended by BSF at Bholaganj while they were illegally intruding inside India from Bangladesh.
The apprehended racketeers have been identified as Debi Malakar (35) and Ravi Boro (25) both resident of Naya Basti Village, Bholaganj, East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya.
Sounding an alarm, BSF informed that the FICN seized is of a very high quality and is difficult to differentiate with the original currency.
Besides the above, the BSF troops of Meghalaya Frontier have so far seized 563 bottles of Liquor and other contraband items worth Rs. 5,78,800 being smuggled out to Bangladesh in the last seven days.
Apprehended persons and seized items have been handed over to the concerned departments for further disposal and legal action as per law of land.
