Singing competition comes to a close

SHILLONG, March 07: The singing competition organized by the Seng Hynñiewtrep Cultural & Welfare Organisation (HTCWO) along with the Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR) and the Department of Arts & Culture of Meghalaya held at State Central Auditorium conduced on Wednesday.

The judges of this competition were Phyrnai Marbañiang, Silbi Passah and Emmanuel Shangpliang. Jefferson Nongkynrih and Steffinia Bashai Pyngrope carried away the winning prizes worth 25,000 from the boys and girls category respectively. Melinda Mary Kharsati’s team was awarded the best group with Rs 5000.
Regional Officer, Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR) N. Munish Singh was the special guest, and Director Arts & Culture Matsiewdor War Nongbri was the chief guest.
